Who We Are

Meet Roxanne

Roxanne K. T. Hill is the creator and owner of Blossoming Through. She brings rich and diverse experience and skills to end of life care. Whether it is pastoral care, community outreach, event planning or fundraising for non-profits, the pervasive thread throughout Roxanne’s multifaceted background is her desire to empower people to improve the quality of their lives and to experience purpose, fulfillment, and healing in their living and into their dying. From her training and ministry as an HIV/AIDS chaplain, to her work as a private fitness trainer, and her experience as a chaplain to the incarcerated, Roxanne wants those she serves to feel loved, respected and empowered. The combination of her deep conviction that no one should die alone and her desire to live into her baptismal vows which call her to respect the dignity of every human being, inspires and informs her work as a Conscious Dying Coach and End of Life Doula.

Inspiration

About Our Logo

The lotus flower that forms Blossoming Through’s logo was inspired by a photo taken by Roxanne while on retreat at Thich Nhat Hanh’s Plum Village monastery in the South of France. Roxanne was captivated by the splendor of the lotus gardens and particularly by the unique and magnificent beauty of each of the lotuses in their various flowering stages.

Roxanne experienced God’s glorious and healing presence in the midst of those lotuses. As an end of life doula, she aims to create for her clients and their families, the same beautiful, healing, and comforting environment, as they make their transition from this life.

“We are blossoms into our death.”
